Hi. My name is Luc Daigle and I've been writing very simple HTML pages since around 1995. In those days, I learned most of what I knew about HTML from using HotDog Editor. My Geocities homepage was my pride and joy, however, it was tragically lost to the mists of internet history when I replaced the whole thing at some point. You can still view the last homepage I created at archive.org.
Anyway, here it is more than 30 years later and I'm still farting around with HTML code, despite having a fully-featured WordPress website. As I've mentioned on that blog, there's just something that feels good about hand-writting HTML. While this website is probably a bit more than what I would have created back in the old days (I certainly wasn't advanced enough to know anything about stylesheets), it is an homage to the golden dawn of the internet, when it was still full of promise and had not yet morphed into the cesspool of debasement we have today (sorry, been scrolling social media a bit too much lately).
Enjoy.
